A downtown Greensboro office building that is also home to a food court recently sold for over $2 million.
The Piedmont Building located at 114 N. Elm St. was purchased for $2.3 million by Piedmont Building LLC, which is registered to Summerfield-based attorney Jason Wilson, according to filings with the Guilford County Register of Deeds and the North Carolina Secretary of State. The seller was Piedmont Properties of NC LLC, which is registered with Colin and Shauna Rockson.
The Class B office building, which was built in 1924, is six stories and 39,225 square feet. It home to a food court that houses multiple restaurants, including Midori Japanese Hibachi, Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill and Poke Bowl. Last December, insurance commission software company Greenwave moved into an expanded space of about 3,400 square feet in the building.
