PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) —After a warm day in the Triad, temperatures will fall into the 40s by 10 PM. Overnight clouds will roll in followed by rain during the early morning hours Monday.
Monday will start off soggy so have the kids ready with the rain gear at the bus stop. Temperatures will be in the low 40s to start the day. Scattered showers remain possible through midday, but most remain dry by the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures reach the upper 50s.
Tuesday starts off with mild temperatures in the upper 40s and cloudy skies. Rain chances return by the afternoon and evening Tuesday and last overnight and into Wednesday morning. Rainfall totals look to be around 1.5″ for Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will be warm on Tuesday with afternoon highs reaching the low to mid-60s before the rain arrives.
Wednesday starts off soggy but a front will push through during the day, ending our rain chances and dropping our temperatures throughout the day. The warmest part of the day Wednesday will be in the morning as we’re waking up and temperatures will return to frigid by the evening hours. We’ll start the day in the upper 50s and end the day in the 30s. The sun will also return by the afternoon.
