Cold front to bring heavy rain to Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — A strong cold front will bring the Piedmont heavy rain, wind, and falling temperatures.

Wednesday morning will be breezy and rainy. For some, the rain could be heavy at times. Morning temperatures will be around 60 degrees. But the warmth will not last long, temperatures will drop during the day. Our Wednesday evening temperatures will be in the 40s. The heavy rain threat will end after lunchtime with our skies clearing out very slowly. Chance of rain 90%.

Thursday, sunny and cool with lows in the upper 20s and highs in the middle 40s.

Mostly cloudy and chilly with lows in the middle 20s and highs in the middle 40s.

Saturday, mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s and highs in the upper 40s.

Cloudy with scattered showers on Sunday. Morning temperatures will be in the upper 30s with afternoon highs in the lower 50s. Chance of rain 60%.

Monday, mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Highs will be in the middle 50s.

Tuesday, partly cloudy with lows in the lower 40s and highs around 60 degrees.
