Pedestrian hit, killed in Greensboro on West Wendover Avenue near South Holden Road, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A pedestrian was hit and killed in Greensboro on Monday night, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

Around 8 p.m., Greensboro police, Greensboro firefighters, and Guilford County EMS responded to West Wendover Avenue near South Holden Road when they were told about a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

The driver of a Honda Accord was going west on West Wendover Avenue when a pedestrian, Brian Vaden, 46, of Madison, walked into the road and was hit.

Vaden died at the scene. His next of kin was notified.
