RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A weather alert for dense fog will affect those driving in central North Carolina on Sunday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 4:59 a.m.
NWS officials said low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous in the following counties:
- Person County
- Granville County
- Vance County
- Warren County
- Halifax County
- Orange County
- Durham County
- Franklin County
- Nash County
- Edgecombe County
- Chatham County
- Wake County
- Johnston County
- Wilson County
- Moore County
- Lee County
- Harnett County
- Hoke County
- Cumberland County
