Live: Snow expected in parts of central NC and coast, will stick around due to extremely cold air

A winter storm brought another snowfall Tuesday across central North Carolina.

For many counties, weather alerts, including Winter Storm Warning, Winter Weather Advisory and Cold Weather Advisory, went into effect Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The daily snowfall record tied at RDU Tuesday, which is 1.5 inches.
