RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – We have had two rounds of wintry weather already in the past month and a half, and another one could be on the way to central North Carolina.
The CBS 17 Storm Team is watching a storm system that will develop and move into central North Carolina by Wednesday.
Forecast models are coming into greater agreement on a potentially impactful winter storm across Central NC Wednesday through Wednesday night.
Right now, freezing rain (ice) is the most likely precipitation type, but that could change over the next couple of days.
