4-year-old boy drowns in Greensboro after falling into neighbor’s pool: Sheriff’s Office

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 4-year-old boy died Saturday in Greensboro after falling into a neighbor’s backyard pool and drowning, according to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrived on Thayer Circle in Greensboro on Saturday regarding a reported drowning. While deputies were on their way to the scene, they were informed that the boy had been found unresponsive, unconscious and not breathing in the pool by the owner of the home where the pool was located.

The boy was taken to a local hospital but ultimately died from his injuries…
