Arrest made after man shot dead at a party in Winston-Salem, police say

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police have arrested 20-year-old Joshua Lebron Edmonds in connection with the December 29, 2024, shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

Officers responded to a shooting around 1:40 a.m. in the 400 block of East Monmouth Street, where they found 23-year-old Kobbie Jaheim Soini Wilson dead in a parking lot. Edmonds later showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound but survived.
