High Point parents charged with involuntary manslaughter after toddler dies in house fire, police say

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Detectives with the High Point Police Department’s Special Victims Unit charged the parents of a toddler who died in a house fire earlier this year with involuntary manslaughter.

Moussa S. Gory, 22, of High Point, and Amya L. Ray, 18, of High Point, were arrested on Thursday. Both have been charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter.
