City of Greensboro expands Doorway Project to provide summer housing for unhoused people

GREENSBORO, N.C. — For the next six months, a vacant lot in Greensboro will serve as temporary housing for people in need.

The city is moving 30 pallet homes to the site as part of the Doorway Project, a program that provides short-term shelter.
