Photos: Fire reported at Burlington-Alamance Regional Airport

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A fire was reported at the Burlington-Alamance Regional Airport on Friday morning.

The fire was reported at around 11:01 a.m. on Friday and crews are on the scene investigating.

According to Burlington Fire Department officials, there was a fire in a test cell of the maintenance facility. It was self-contained and produced a large amount of smoke, but the fire wasn’t large. Minor injuries were reported.

“Firefighters confirmed that occupants had evacuated the structure and began gaining access to the building and extinguishing the fire. The fire was under control within seven minutes of fire personnel arriving,” the fire department said in a release…
