According to an announcement from Office of the Governor, nominees for the Governor’s Crime Commission, including Union County Chief District Court Judge Erin S. Hucks, Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough, and Nisha G. Williams, Legal Director of the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence. These nominees have experience in judicial leadership, law enforcement, and advocacy against domestic and sexual violence.

The Historic Hillsborough Commission will include Joseph Petrizzi, vice president of the Chapel Hill Historical Society, and Laura Juel, an occupational therapist at Duke University Medical Center.
