‘Sunshine of the world’: Greensboro family advocates for early cancer screening after mom diagnosed

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — In just one year, a 37-year-old mom of two and preschool teacher went from running, laughing and singing with her students to lying in a hospital bed because of stage four colon cancer.

“She is the sunshine of the world … She’s always been that people person. She always wants to be around,” Summer May said.
