Forsyth County Sheriff Kimbrough appointed to Governor’s Crime Commission

Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough has been appointed to the Governor’s Crime Commission.

Governor Josh Stein made the announcement late last week. The Commission is made up of over 40 members statewide. It sets program priorities and makes recommendations to the governor for grant awards, with the goal of reducing crime and enhancing public safety.

Other newly appointed members include Erin Hucks, a chief district court judge from Union County, and Nisha Williams, the legal director of the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence…
