‘Multiple kilos’ of illegal drugs found during major North Carolina bust, sheriff says

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) – “Multiple kilos” of illegal drugs were seized during a major bust in one North Carolina county this week, deputies said.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said it worked a “long-term investigation” with local, state and federal agencies to take down some of the area’s biggest drug dealers.

Through “Operation Dirty Vaquero,” the sheriff’s office said multiple arrests were made and multiple kilos of fentanyl and cocaine were seized. Deputies said some of the perpetrators illegally had guns and conspired with deported immigrants to sell the drugs…
