Two Maiden preschool teachers charged after one was accused of assaulting 16 toddlers

MAIDEN, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Two preschool teachers are facing abuse and assault charges, according to Maiden Police.

On Monday, March 31, police were alerted to possible child abuse in the 2- and 3-year-old class at Maiden Rosenwald Preschool Academy. An investigation was launched, and the preschool staff immediately prevented the accused teacher from having contact with students.

On Tuesday, April 1, police carried out a search warrant at the preschool and got security video, employee records, and other items.
