GREENSBORO, N.C. — A routine oil change at a local Take 5 Oil Change service center led to significant engine damage for Greensboro resident Adjoa Botwe-Rankin. The ordeal began when a technician informed her son that the oil pan had been cracked during the service.
Initially, Take 5 denied liability, even after the technician acknowledged the pan cracked when pulling out the oil plug.
