KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — UPDATE: The Kernersville Police Department says U.S. 421 is now back open.
“Thank you for your patience while we had lanes in both directions of the highway shut down. Shutting down these lanes allowed the Traffic Enforcement Team to investigate and gather roadway evidence for this crash. We were able to reopen these lanes as quick as we could, as we continue to serve this community and strive to provide a higher level of service,” the Kernersville Police Department said in an online post.
