Lexington business owner arrested after police say he defrauded over 25 victims out of more than $300,000 total

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Davidson County business owner was arrested last week after police say he defrauded over 25 victims by taking money for work that was never completed.

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said that in early 2025, it began a fraud investigation involving Triad Carports and Metal Structures, Inc., located at 1961 East US Highway 64 in Lexington. Investigators said they discovered evidence of multiple victims who had been defrauded since late 2022 for a total of over $300,000.
