Dump truck driver who killed crew of linemen did not have CDL

The driver of a dump truck that killed a crew of linemen in North Carolina last week did not have a valid CDL.

The incident occurred on April 24th in Eden, North Carolina as a crew of linemen were working as contractors for Duke Energy.

According to MyFox8 , the dump truck was a city of Eden vehicle driven by 66-year-old Michael Ray Vernon. Investigators believe that the dump truck ran a stop sign before crashing into the crew of linemen…
