Randolph County man accused of assaulting disabled person, sheriff’s office says

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting someone.

According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, they went to a home in Denton for a welfare check on Monday and found someone who appeared to have been assaulted. The victim was evaluated by EMS and deputies began investigating.
