GREENSBORO, N.C. — Tara and Mark Hughes, residents of Greensboro, invested nearly $6,000 in a hot tub, hoping to create a relaxing retreat in their backyard. However, their purchase quickly turned into a series of challenges marked by persistent leaks and a limited warranty that left them footing the bill for repairs.
Shortly after installation, the couple noticed a lack of water pressure. Upon inspecting the unit, they discovered significant water accumulation at the bottom. The company informed them that the labor warranty was only three months, and any necessary repairs would be at their own expense. Frustrated, Tara and Mark hired a different company to address the leaks. Despite four attempts, the issues persisted, with the spa becoming unusable after the last repair.
