‘Operation Roadrunner’ leads to 42 arrests, seizure of 200+ lbs of drugs in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA (WBTV) – Forty-two people were arrested in North Carolina last month after a year-long multi-agency narcotics investigation dubbed “Operation Roadrunner.”

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office announced the apprehensions on Thursday, May 8, after the operation reportedly concluded in April.

Deputies said that during the operation, they seized $876,812 in cash, 41 pounds of cocaine, 159 pounds of weed, 2.2 pounds of meth, 24.4 dosage units of MDMA, and 25 guns…
