The Guilford County Veterans Memorial is hosting a service this Sunday where residents can learn about a campaign to renovate the site.
The initiative started after Tropical Storm Debby uprooted a red oak and damaged the memorial grounds in August of last year. Now, funds are being raised to not only repair the area but also bring it into the future.
