With his remains finally home, this Memorial Day means more for Korean War Veteran David Hardy’s family

REIDSVILLE, N.C. — This Memorial Day carries extra weight for one Rockingham County family.

Back in March, the remains of Korean War veteran Sergeant David Hardy were returned to his family in Reidsville, over 70 years after he died as a prisoner of war in North Korea.
