GRAHAM, N.C. — A downtown Graham park built to celebrate Alamance County’s 150th anniversary may soon be coming down.
Sesquicentennial Park, located in the heart of downtown, has stood for more than 20 years. But now, city officials say safety concerns are forcing them to reconsider its future. A large sign reading “Park Closed” now greets visitors, as the city works through next steps.
