‘Generational impact’: JetZero project could transform life in the Triad

GREENSBORO, N.C. — You won’t see heavy machinery for a while, but you could soon feel the impact of this project in your everyday life — from the jobs it creates to the roads you drive, the places you eat and the homes being built around you.

Leaders said this isn’t just big for business, it’s a major shift for the entire Triad. Chancellor James Martin of North Carolina A&T said this is one of the most significant projects announced in the country, with the potential to transform how we travel by air.

“This is one of the biggest projects that we’ll have that will be announced in this entire country because of the capability for this to be a watershed moment in air travel,” Martin said. “So it’s not about just one company, it is about a change in the paradigm that is air travel.”…
