Man found guilty of DWI, 2nd-degree murder after fatal crash in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A man has been found guilty of multiple charges after a fatal crash in Winston-Salem, according to Forsyth County District Attorney James O’Neill.

On Jan. 23, 2024, Codey Phillip-Wayne Jones was arrested on charges of driving while impaired, careless and reckless driving, felony death by vehicle and second-degree murder. He was held without bond.
