WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting in which a woman was injured, according to a news release.
On Sunday at 4:16 p.m., the WSPD responded to a shooting outside a home in the 400 block of West 24th Street. An investigation revealed that a disturbance took place outside and gunshots were fired.
A 26-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
