(WGHP) — Susan Cox, a beloved team member at Hospice of the Piedmont, has retired after what she calls a rewarding 45 years in nursing.
“It’s kind of surreal. It does not feel like it’s been 45 years and to look back over all the places I’ve worked and the patients I’ve cared for, and the things I’ve done, it’s a little overwhelming to think about,” she said.
