HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is facing several charges after being suspected of being an impaired driver during a hit-and-run crash that left four children and an adult injured, according to the High Point Police Department.
At around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, officers came to the intersection of Skeet Club Road and Braddock Road after getting a report of a hit-and-run crash with injuries.
Police say that four children and an adult were in the car that was struck. When the police arrived, witnesses to the crash were performing CPR on a 6-year-old child.
The 6-year-old child was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. A 9-year-old child is in critical condition as well with serious injuries. The other two children, ages 10 and 12, are being treated for serious injuries as well as the adult driver…
