Parent shares story of fleeing gunshots after Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — As people celebrated the Fourth of July in downtown Greensboro, the revelry quickly turned to fear after sounds of gunfire, instead of fireworks, filled the air near City Center Park.

It happened around 9 o’clock; police quickly descended to the scene to close off the streets and tell people to get home to safety.

At least two people were injured, one with life-threatening injuries…
