MADISON, N.C. — A woman was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after an incident at Madison River Park.
According to the Madison Fire Department, crews were dispatched to Madison River Park around 2:25 p.m. on Monday in reference to a possible drowning. When they arrived, officials located a woman and transported her to Moses Cone Hospital treatment.
