What’s cooking at Furnitureland South?

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Top 100 retailer Furnitureland South announced the opening of a new in-store restaurant on July 28, offering its guests a place to dine while they shop.

The Gathering Table, located on the first floor of the Jamestown, N.C.-based retailer’s Showroom Building, is a casual eatery and bistro offering salads, sandwiches, wraps and Southern-inspired dishes. A report by the Triad Business Journal says the restaurant is run by Keith Henning, who’s other eateries include Black Powder Smokehouse in Jamestown.

Many of the menu’s items have names inspired by home furnishings, such as the “Farmhouse Chic” salad, “Art Deco” flatbread and “The Showroom” sandwich…
