The Greensboro Public Library is changing its hours of service due to the city’s budgetary constraints.
The move follows the City Council’s passage of an $831 million budget in June. To avoid increasing taxes, officials approved reducing hours at libraries and recreation centers, among other things.
The Greensboro Public Library will now be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m…
