ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man who entered the United States illegally is being charged with the forcible rape of a juvenile, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 16, deputies got a report of a sexual assault involving a juvenile that occurred at a home on the 100 block of Linda Drive in Madison.
Investigators later obtained a warrant for Miguel Perez, 33, of Madison, for second-degree forcible rape. Perez resides in the same home where the sexual assault was reported.
On August 8, Perez was taken into custody and served with the warrant without incident. He is being held in the detention center without bond and will appear in court on August 21…
