HIGH POINT, N.C. — After revealing its plans to cease operations last month, clock manufacturer Howard Miller has submitted notices to the state announcing the planned closure of facilities in High Point and Lexington.
According to a WARN Notice filed by the company, it plans to close both facilities on November 2. The move will affect 42 employees, 39 of whom worked at the High Point facility on Jarrell Street.
In July, Howard Miller announced it was shutting down its business. Operations are expected to cease by the end of 2025, and the company’s remaining inventory will be sold off early next year…
