PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — After a fairly quiet weekend, we will start the week off with a small chance of showers and storms but that chance of precipitation will increase throughout the week. High zone Monday will be in the upper 80s with about a 30% chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm.
Tuesday afternoon will be very similar with about a 40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms with temperatures a little bit cooler at around 83 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday, we’ll have a continued chance of showers and storms in the afternoon with highs in the mid-80s, but rain chances begin to increase by Friday. Friday and Saturday are both expected to be cooler than we have seen recently and will be pretty gray with lots of clouds and scattered storms possible throughout the day.
