Raccoon tests positive for rabies in Colfax | 6th case in Guilford County this year

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A raccoon located on Ballard Road in Colfax tested positive for rabies on Wednesday, according to the Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services.

This is the sixth confirmed case of animal rabies in Guilford County this year.
