North Forsyth High School student charged after bringing gun to school, deputies say

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A North Forsyth High School student accused of bringing a gun to school on Thursday faces felony charges, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office news release.

After the gun was found, a secure custody order was approved, and the juvenile was taken to a juvenile detention facility.

The juvenile was charged with one felony count of possession of a weapon on school campus/property and one felony count of alteration, destruction or removal of serial number from a firearm or possession of a firearm with serial numbers removed…
