Greensboro Police launch ‘Operation School Watch’ as students return Monday to school

GREENSBORO, N.C. — As students head back to school Monday, the Greensboro Police Department will launch its 10th annual Operation School Watch, running Aug. 25 through Sept. 5, police said.

During the two-week initiative, officers will increase patrols around school zones, buses, and bus routes, focusing on traffic violations such as speeding, seatbelt use, and pedestrian crossing infractions.
