Glenn High students walk out over Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools job cuts

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Monday marks the first day of school for students in several districts across the Triad.

Meanwhile, the mood at Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, which are entering their third week of class, is drastically different.

Hundreds of Glenn High students walked out of class Monday morning to take a stand against staff layoffs amid the district’s bigger budget crisis.
