WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A proposed amphitheater in downtown Winston-Salem is inching closer to reality, according to the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership.
From traffic concerns to noise concerns, people who live in the West End neighborhood of Winston-Salem packed this community meeting on Tuesday night to find out more about the proposed amphitheater not too far from where they live.

According to leaders of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, the proposed site for this more-than-5,000-seat amphitheater would be on a vacant block bound by Fifth, Spruce, Sixth and Marshall streets downtown. For better reference, it would be between the Benton Convention Center and First Baptist Church, a nearly one-acre site owned by Flow Automotive CEO Don Flow.
