PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — We have scattered clouds across the Piedmont this morning, but we will end up with a mostly sunny day to enjoy. It will remain dry and crisp for any outdoor activities you want to take on, as highs reach the upper-70s this afternoon.
Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight with lows in the mid-50s.
There will be a gradual warm-up on Thursday and Friday as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs on Thursday are going to be near 80 degrees under partly cloudy skies. The cold front comes through late Friday without measurable rain, so most of the day will be sunny with highs in the lower-80s.
