Asheboro, NC – A Trinity man was arrested Friday following a child exploitation investigation by the Invictus Task Force.
According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, investigators identified 44-year-old Christopher John Tuft as a suspect earlier this month after receiving a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Authorities executed a search warrant on Friday, taking Tuft into custody.
Deputies said Tuft was charged with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was booked into the Randolph County Detention Center, where a magistrate issued a $75,000 secured bond.
