PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — We have another cool, dry day ahead! Skies are mostly cloudy this morning, but we will have sunnier skies by late afternoon. Highs are going to return to the upper-70s. If your allergies are flaring up, you may be sensitive to ragweed. Weed pollen is moderately high and will stay like that through at least Saturday.
Overnight, there will be plenty of stars to admire as a crescent moon and clear skies offer superb stargazing conditions. Lows will settle to the upper-50s by daybreak.
Friday is looking warmer with mostly sunny skies. Ahead of an approaching cold front, high temperatures will be pushed into the mid-80s. FOX8 Friday High School Football Frenzy is looking great with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the lower-to-mid-70s.
The cold front comes through Friday night and over the weekend, temperatures are going to begin to cool off once more. We will have partly cloudy skies on Saturday with highs near 80 degrees. By Sunday, there will be some increasing clouds and cooler highs in the mid-70s.
The first half of the work week, the weather returns to an autumnlike pattern as a Canadian high settles southward. Highs are going to stay in the mid-to-upper-70s with lows in the mid-50s. It will stay dry as well, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies…
