Highs in mid-70s expected on a partly cloudy Sunday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A nice, comfortable and quiet evening is ahead in the Piedmont Triad with temperatures falling through the 70s. Many of us will be in the low 70s by 9 p.m. Saturday and skies remain mostly clear for the evening and late-night hours.

Overnight, a few more clouds will start to roll in and we’ll start Sunday with some clouds in the sky. Temperatures on Sunday morning start in the upper 50s and low 60s. It’ll be a pleasant afternoon with low humidity, temperatures in the mid-70s and partly cloudy skies. A stray shower can’t be ruled out on Sunday, mainly in the morning hours but the chance for rain is very low and the majority of us will stay dry.

Mostly sunny skies for Labor Day, and it’ll be another pleasant and beautiful day. Morning lows start in the mid-50s with afternoon highs in the upper 70s. Skies will be mostly sunny with a light northeast wind…
