Greensboro police to file petition for release of body-worn camera footage after fatal officer-involved shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police will file a petition for the release of body-worn camera footage related to a fatal shooting last month, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 4:06 p.m. on Aug. 5, a Greensboro officer was flagged down by a resident in the 1600 block of Marion Street about a trespasser call.
