ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — For more than 12 years, Crystal Thompson co-chaired Relay for Life in Alamance County. She dedicated her life to walking beside people with cancer, raising funds, and lending strength to those enduring their darkest days.
Then the fight came for her. Thompson received a breast cancer diagnosis, and suddenly, the roles were reversed. The support she had given so freely was now the support she needed most.
